Frequently asked questions

How often is it necessary to calibrate the tachograph?

Regular calibration is mandatory every two years for digital and SMART tachographs. Emergency calibration is performed after repairing the tachograph, changing the dimensions of the tires or any intervention on the vehicle that may affect the accuracy of the measurement.

Do I have to upgrade to a Smart 2 tachograph?

If your vehicle participates in international transport in the EU, replacement with Smart 2 (version 2) is mandatory in accordance with the prescribed deadlines (Mobility Package). As importers, we always have Smart 2 devices in stock for quick replacement.
